Dotted Line Policies

  • Shipping:
    • Dotted Line offers free USPS shipping on domestic orders of $100 or more.
    • For purchases under $100, a $5 shipping/postage fee will be added to your bill.
    • Orders are generally shipped within 3-4 business days, but please allow up to 2 weeks to arrive. If you need a quicker delivery, please email me to to discuss the options.
    • Dotted Line is not responsible for shipping costs related to returns, exchanges, or repairs.
  • Gifts: Need to get something for your mom for mother's day? Your sister's b'day? Cousin's bat mitzvah? I am happy to ship any purchase directly to your loved one. The jewelry will be packaged in a Dotted Line gift box, and come with a locally designed, hand-made card with a message from you.
  • Gift Cards: Are also available, and are sold in $50 increments.
  • Tax: For all orders shipped within the State of Washington, 9.5% sales tax will be added to your item.
  • Quality Guarantee: The entire Dotted Line collection is created with care in my studio in Seattle, Washington. I stand behind the quality of my work. If you should ever need a repair, I am happy to do so free of charge.
  • Exchanges/Returns: It's important that you are happy with your purchase! If you wish to return or exchange your item, please contact me within 7 days. All items approved for return or exchange must be returned unused, in their original packaging.
  • Lost an Earring?: The gemstones I use are unique, and have variations in shape, size and color. For this reason it can be very difficult, sometimes impossible, to create a match for a single earring. If creating a match is possible, I charge 65% of the original cost of the earrings, plus shipping.
  • Custom: Custom orders are taken on a case by case basis. There are no returns on custom orders.
  • Wholesale: Have a store, gallery, or boutique that you think would be a good fit for Dotted Line? I'm always looking for new retail partners and new ways to grow the business. Please send any wholesale inquiries to annie@DottedLineJewels.com.
  • Care:
    • To avoid tangles, you can store necklaces in pill-size ziploc baggies - when you seal the baggie, make sure that just the clasp is on the outside. This is an especially good trick for all you traveling ladies!
    • Store all jewelry with gemstones out of direct sunlight.
    • An easy, fast, safe polish for tarnished sterling silver is toothpaste. Keeps your Dotted Line jewelry nice and bright. And minty fresh.
